CANCELED – Kinky Boots

Hello LGBTQ-Employee Alliance members,

I regret to inform you that the Friday evening performance of Kinky Boots has been cancelled. The Saturday evening and Sunday matinee performances will still be going on as scheduled.

If you previously bought tickets, you should be receiving an email from PVCC about refunding your ticket or moving it to come and see the Saturday (7PM) or Sunday (2PM) performance.

With such short notice, we have Alliance members attending both of these options so please email me (paul.yount@phoenix.gov) if you still plan on attending the show and I can coordinate with you to help ensure that our Alliance members can sit together.

Again, I apologize for this inconvenience and I hope to see some of you for our final weekend of this amazing production!

Join the LGBTQ EA for the Paradise Valley Community College performance of “Kinky Boots”, choreographed by our own Paul Yount! We are coordinating a group trip for June 23, 2023. The performance starts at 7:00pm, but arrive at 6:30pm to get your seat. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and military, $8 for children. Synopsis: Charlie Price has reluctantly inherited his father’s shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father’s legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola, a fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair find that they have more in common than they realized… and discover that when you change your mind, you can change your whole world.
